The Return of a Dear Friend

Back in October Amy Goeken's dad, Harold Southwick, shared his testimony with us and spoke about his new book, "The Way Back Home", that was recently published. We are very excited to announce that he will be having a book signing at Borders on Saturday, December 19, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The address is 570 Meyerland Plaza, Houston 77096 - don't hesitate to show your support for Harold by dropping in & saying hello & having him sign your book! I know he would love to see some familiar faces.

kids eat free!

I met a friend of mine for lunch today and found a little treasure. Applebees has kids eat free every Wednesday, all day long! Two kids per adult can eat anything off the kids menu! AWESOME!!

We had 5 little boys to the two mommies (one of them was a baby) so the boys were free, in addition to that there was no standing ovation when we left! :) Maybe I will run into you there soon.

October Fun

We had a very special meeting this morning where our "men's panel" did an excellent job reminding us how important it is to keep our eyes on God, He has an awesome plan for our lives, a plan to prosper us with blessings beyond our imagination!

Our next meeting will be Oct 23rd at 9:30 in the K-Zone where we will recall our adolescence and have a morning of slumber party fun!

*Don't forget fall dues are past due

Last week we enjoyed getting to know oneanother. After a greeting from our Preschool Director Jenni J. the Steering Team each took a moment to introduce themselves. We made name plates and discussed the theme with our amazing mentor Kay. Then we opened the floor to all the moms who were comfortable introducing themselves to the group.

Next Friday, Jennifer D. our resident crafty lady will lead us all in our first project of the year. You will have to be there to find out what it is and not miss out on the fun and laughter that await. The orange and pink tables will be providing yummy breakfast treats to share so don't be late. We will bless the food at 9:45 sharp and the yummier the food the faster it goes!

If you have any questions for the Steering Team or suggestions please feel free to email us at bcbcmops@gmail.com
